Sissy invites the audience to channel rage, delight, and defiance into an empowering, communal experience.
Part lip-sync, part protest, part cabaret spectacle (yes its go gay its in three parts!) - Battle Cry reaches out to anyone feeling alone in these Trump-testuous times. Inviting anyone feeling alone, afraid, or full of rage to embrace their inner ‘Sissy’ and unleash an outrageous, radical transformation dripping with spectacle.
Note from Sissy: ‘Battle Cry’ is a love letter to our community, to our trans and gender variant siblings. It’s an expression of anger. It’s a transformation of shame and rage into something beautiful.
